Za vsako kolekcijo, predstavljeno v času londonskega tedna mode, stoji veliko širša ustvarjalna skupnost.
18. septembra je Paris Runway Official v okviru dogodka Fashion Represents v londonski četrti Mayfair, v zgodovinskem in elegantnem ambientu Dartmouth House, predstavil prihajajoče oblikovalce in modele.
Program je vključeval tudi The People’s Catwalk in poseben glasbeni oziroma umetniški nastop.
Oblikovalci skupaj niso ponudili ene same definicije nastajajoče mode. Prav njihove razlike so bile bistvo predstavitve.
VIP obravnava
Ekipa Paris Runway je za modele in goste pripravila darilne vrečke, v katerih so bili izdelki znamk Molly Sims YISE Beauty, Misfits Protein Bars, LOVE CORN in knjiga Soul Couture™: Your Inner Runway to Remember Who You Are avtorice Andreee Oane Serban, psihologinje, terapevtke, usposobljene za kognitivno-vedenjsko terapijo, avtorice, pravnice in modne oblikovalke.
Oblikovalci so predstavili pet različnih pogledov. Modeli so pomagali njihove ideje prenesti v življenje.
Postali so del zgodbe.

Building What Comes Next: Paris Runway is Creating Space for Fashion’s Next Generation
At the Fashion Represents Show in London, emerging designers shared the spotlight with the models, artists, beauty team, photographers, and production teams helping to shape London’s creative future.
Behind every collection presented during London Fashion Week stood a much larger creative community.
On September 18, Paris Runway Official brought emerging designers and models to Dartmouth House in Mayfair as part of Fashion Represents, placing new creative voices inside one of London’s most elegant historic settings. The Runway Show, which sold out in advance, proved just how popular emerging talent is in London.
The presentation offered more than a sequence of runway looks. It drew attention to the network of models, makeup artists, hairstylists, photographers, producers, sponsors and backstage teams required to transform a designer’s ideas into a public fashion moment.
That wider community became central to the evening’s story.
Emerging designers are often expected to build a recognisable identity, produce a collection, manage a business and attract international attention at the same time. A runway presentation can introduce their work to a new audience, but lasting progress requires editorial visibility, industry relationships and opportunities that continue after the final model leaves the catwalk.
Paris Runway Official approached the showcase with that larger purpose in mind: to help independent talent be seen, heard and documented.
Distinct Creative Identities
The participating designers represented the cultural and creative range that continues to distinguish London from other fashion capitals.
London-based Aql&Nafs, founded by Afghan twin sisters, placed Afghan heritage within a contemporary luxury context. The label has become known for reinterpreting traditional craftsmanship, including the Afghan coat, through a modern design language. By working with Afghan women artisans, Aql&Nafs has treated heritage as a living practice sustained through skilled work, rather than simply as a source of visual inspiration.
Riccardo Longo Bespoke represented another essential part of London’s identity: its relationship with tailoring. Built around individuality, detail and clothing made with intention, the designer’s presence reflected the continuing relevance of bespoke craftsmanship within a constantly changing fashion landscape.
Fiona Troy brought an independent creative voice to the presentation. Her inclusion reflected one of the central aims of the project: giving designers a place to show their work while also creating an editorial opportunity for audiences to understand the person, process and ideas behind it. Fiona proves that things from the past can have an entirely new future when using vintage and reclaimed textiles.
Priyal Doshi Couture introduced couture craftsmanship and an international perspective. The label’s participation reinforced London Fashion Week’s position as a meeting point for designers carrying different traditions, techniques and cultural influences. Priyal brought a beautiful collection to the runway, featuring an array of colors and details for her Spring/Summer 2027 Collection.
Fashion Sandy by Sandhya joined the showcase as another independent voice ready to reach a wider audience. From the colors she presented on the runway to the fabrics... Sandy brought couture to London in a way that stunned the audience with her use of gorgeous fabrics and details.
Other designers featured by Fashion Represents included House of Byzantium (@byzantium_fashion), Dani Tabios and Millie Jane (@daelarta and @milliejanefashion), as well as Isali Tharinka and Irosha Croos. The program also featured The People’s Catwalk, alongside a special guest performance.
Together, the designers did not present a single definition of emerging fashion. Their differences became the point. Heritage, tailoring, couture and independent experimentation occupied the same runway without requiring any designer to surrender what made the work distinctive.
The people behind the runway
The models gave each collection movement, attitude and human presence, but their role extended beyond serving as a backdrop for the clothes. Each model interpreted the designer’s vision through posture, pace and expression.
Backstage, beauty teams translated that vision through hair and makeup led by Head of Hair and makeup @Glow_by_elenadragomir. Photographers preserved moments that might otherwise have lasted only a few seconds. Producers managed the complex movement of people, garments and timing required to make the presentation appear effortless.
These roles are frequently reduced to a line in the credits, even though they shape how a collection is ultimately experienced and remembered.
Paris Runway Official sought to widen that frame. Supporting emerging fashion meant recognising not only designers, but also the developing models, makeup artists, hairstylists, photographers and production professionals building careers alongside them.
VIP Treatment
Paris Runway Team provided gift bags for models and guests that included products from Molly Sims YISE Beauty, Misfits Protein Bars, LOVE CORN and the book Soul Couture™: Your Inner Runway to Remember Who You Are, by Andreea Oana Serban who is a psychologist, CBT-trained therapist, author, lawyer and fashion designer. Wrapping Pond provided the elegant, high quality goody bags.
London’s investment in emerging talent
The presentation arrived at an important moment for British fashion.
The British Fashion Council has placed access, creativity and growth at the centre of its strategy for the industry, while public investment has continued to support London Fashion Week and programs for emerging designers.
Those commitments acknowledged a challenge familiar to independent creatives: talent may be abundant, but the resources needed to sustain it are not distributed equally.
Large-scale funding and institutional programs remain essential, but independent platforms also have a role to play. They can create additional entry points, document talent before it becomes widely known and extend attention to contributors who sit outside the traditional designer-focused narrative.
Paris Runway Official’s contribution at Dartmouth House was to use its platform and editorial reach to help close that visibility gap.
The evening did not attempt to offer a final answer to the pressures facing emerging fashion. Instead, it demonstrated what could happen when access was shared across a broader creative community.
Designers presented five distinct points of view. Models helped bring those ideas to life. Around them stood an extensive network of artists, organizers and supporters whose work made the runway possible.
For a few hours in Mayfair, they were not hidden behind fashion’s finished image. They became part of the story.
