Metcalf je model pri organizaciji CFDA in je trenutno podpisan z agencijo EMG Models. Nastopil je že na tednih mode v New Yorku, Los Angelesu, Parizu in Londonu.
Po izjemno uspešnem tednu mode v New Yorku, kjer je Metcalf 11. februarja odprl revijo oblikovalke Monday Blues, članice CFDA, na prestižnem dogodku CFDA Calendar Break Free, ter nastopil tudi na drugih revijah, kot so Runway 7, The Bureau v ugledni dvorani Gotham Hall in The Confessional Showroom, si je prislužil veliko uredniške pozornosti pomembnih modnih publikacij, kot so Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia, Glamour in Elle.
Metcalf, doma iz Los Angelesa, se je zdaj vrnil, da bi znova stopil na pisto za The Bureau v okviru tedna mode v Los Angelesu, tokrat kot hišni model pod vodstvom režiserke revije in oblikovalke Becky Upshaw. Hišni model mora biti pripravljen hoditi na vseh terminih revij pri The Bureau in velja za zelo prestižen položaj.
Metcalf je nastopil za oblikovalce, kot so glavni zvezdnik dogodka Joseph Auren, Top Tier Fashion, Blank Studios in dolgoletni sodelavec House of Musa.
V petek, na otvoritveni večer dogodka The Bureau, je Metcalf hodil za cenjenega bolgarskega modnega oblikovalca Josepha Aurena, znanega po svojih futurističnih, avantgardnih kreacijah. Metcalf je nosil zelen futurističen videz, ki je pritegnil številne poglede.
V soboto pa je bil Metcalf otvoritveni model na reviji House of Musa pod vodstvom kreativne direktorice Cindy Mac. To je bil že peti nastop, ko je hodil zanje.
Metcalf, ki je tudi filmski ustvarjalec, igralec in vsestranski umetnik, je v modne revije vstopil kot naravno nadaljevanje performativne umetnosti, pri kateri tesno sodeluje z oblikovalcem glede videza in razpoloženja, ki ga želijo ustvariti.

Model Brian Metcalf returns to The Bureau for Los Angeles Fashion Week
Metcalf is a CFDA model, currently signed with EMG models. He has done New York Fashion Week, Los Angeles Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and London Fashion Week.
After a hugely successful New York Fashion Week where Metcalf opened for CFDA designer Monday Blues at the prestigious CFDA Calendar Break Free show on February 11th as well as other shows such as Runway 7, The Bureau at the prestigious Gotham Hall and The Confessional Showroom, he earned massive editorial attention from major fashion publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia, Glamour and Elle.
Metcalf, a native of Los Angeles, has returned back to once again walk for The Bureau for Los Angeles Fashion Week, this time as a house model under the guidance of The Bureau’s show director and designer Becky Upshaw. A house model is expected to be ready to walk for all the showtimes at The Bureau and is considered a prestigious position.
Metcalf walked for designers such as headliner Joseph Auren, Top Tier Fashion, Blank Studios and longtime collaborator House of Musa.
On Friday, the opening night of the Bureau, Metcalf walked for esteemed Bulgarian fashion designer, Joseph Auren, known for his futuristic, avant-garde designs. Metcalf was dressed in a green, futuristic-looking outfit that turned numerous heads.
Then on Saturday, Metcalf was the opening model for the House of Musa show under the guidance of Musa’s creative director Cindy Mac. This is the fifth time Metcalf has walked for them.
Metcalf, a filmmaker, actor, and multi-hyphenate, transitioned to doing runway shows as a natural extension of performance art where he collectively collaborates with the designer based on the look and mood they are going for.
